Find the truth of Sharon Brown's death in Erin West's story arc.

To unlock this badge, the player must have previously completed Tavish Bell, Number Six, and Kelly Uqua's arcs. This can be done in Ouroboros, but the player will have to speak to them in-person if they aren't in their inactive contacts tab.

Erin West must like you enough to tell you about her mentor's death: if you've antagonized her too much, you'll be locked out of earning the badge and will have to restart the arc. It is possible to unlock Truth Seeker and the Uncomfortable Truths badge in a single run.

In the mission 'Hold a press conference', West likes it when you choose the alien lines. In the debrief, choosing the path 'I kinda ignored your notecards/went off script' > 'Hope to keep you laughing, West' > 'The Skulls thing was pretty clever' is the best way to earn like points from West.

In the mission 'Clear out the abandoned Crey lab', Proceed through the interview but avoid sabotaging it. Praising your team/members and being informal are both OK. Repeatedly saying "It's classified" or insulting the team while praising yourself will both anger West and lock you out of Uncomfortable Truths.

In any subsequent debriefings, avoid any lines that would antagonize West until you reach 'Clear out the Devouring Earth hive' and lose team members. When you debrief with West, select either "Explain" option, then choose these exact options: "That's it?! Too bad, so sad, on we go?" -> "Who did you lose?" -> "It's easier when the grief is shared..."

West should tell you about her mentor (Sharon Brown) and give you the first clue needed for this badge, Gone but not forgotten. (If you don't see this option or she doesn't give you the clue, you agitated West too much and will need to try the arc again.)

At any time between 'Capture some B-Roll' and 'Deal with Alpha team', the player should speak to Tavish Bell, Number Six, and Kelly Uqua until they have the following clues:

• Lab Attack
• Safety Failures
• Cut Costs
• Careless Vigilante
• Shady Crey-d
• Covering Their Butts

Speak to West about Brown. If you've already accepted "Deal with Alpha Team" you can leave West and then click her again to get this option. Take the option to tell her about Sharon Brown and explain every piece of information, then say "That's it", NOT "Are you OK?." Make sure not to end the conversation until you've said every line that gives her info. If everything went correctly you will receive the Truth Seeker badge!
