Sovereign was born Alderahn Sov'reign on the distant world of Juton Prime, a planet lost to a cataclysmic natural disaster. In the final moments before its destruction, his parents placed their infant son in a spacecraft and launched him into the stars, toward a chance at life.

That ship crash-landed in the open plains of Oklahoma near the quiet town of Cordell, where he was discovered by a humble farming couple, John and Mary King. They raised him as their own, giving him the name Caiden King.

As he grew, Cade began to exhibit incredible powers, strength beyond measure, skin like steel, and a resilience unmatched by any on Earth. Guided by the values instilled in him by his adoptive parents, he chose to use his gifts for good.

Now known to the world as Sovereign, he stands as one of Paragon City's most powerful defenders, a living legacy of two worlds, fighting to ensure no one else suffers the fate his people did.
