Description:

The future is a grim place, humanity is on the brink of collapse. It’s not uncommon to see skyscrapers, structurally unsound, collapse. The cause of it? Genetically modified slugs from Florida. Once infamous for eating stucco, they now eat concrete. Colby Marlowe, of New Zealand, was one of several agents tasked by the United Nations to travel back in time, investigate the origins of this slug, and summarily deal with its creators. As the time machines began blinking agents to the past, the building they were in started to collapse. He saw many agents get crushed by falling debris. Though he was spared from being crushed, debris had still found its way into his machine. The debris blended with him in his journey to the past, gifting him an uncanny connection with concrete. Upon reaching the past, Colby was unable to contact any of the other agents and began his investigation alone. His investigation has brought him to Paragon City, and to the Coralax.
