Description:

The Acarya's Staff was enchanted to absorb the skills and abilities of its owners as it was passed from mentor to student, in the hopes of one day creating a line of peerless warriors. Things hit a bit of a setback when its wielder was slain and the staff lost in a forest for several centuries, during which time the enchantment apparently considered a succession of various insects to be the staff's owner. By the time it came into the possession of Caleb Denton, the staff imparted quite a bit more on its wielder than martial arts skills, which isn't ideal, but also not without its own benefits.
