Description:

While the Primal Earth hero Powerthrust was granted a connection to the Well of Furies early in life, his Praetorian equivalent wasn't so lucky. At a point in their lives when they were both simply a man named Steven MacBrayer, they had a chance encounter with a ranting lunatic. While Primal MacBrayer brushed the madman off, and would later fall ass-backwards into super powers, Praetorian MacBrayer confronted him. The man turned out to be a time-traveling villain seeking weapons from the future to conquer the past, and their scuffle led them both to be transported forward in time to the Hamidon wars.

MacBrayer joined humanity's defense, eventually earning the title of Agent Hyperion. With no powers to call his own, his combat skills are hard-won, unlike Powerthrust's, specializing in covert ops. A major idealist, Captain Hyperion initally supported Emperor Cole's utopia, but has been forced to accept that it is anything but.
