Description:

The fog rolled in like a big smokey blanket. The last thing the man piloting the automocar said before the accident was, "Sure is foggy. I can't see shit!"

When he woke in the hospital, his family was distraught. They asked if he could see them, but all he said was, "I can't see shit!" Without his sight, surely he would have to give up on his dream of fighting crime with his martial arts?

"No!" he cried. "I won't give up! I will use a special set of gloves to enhance my martial arts motions to empower my attacks!" he explained. "These same enhanced motions will allow me to perceive the world around me through my sense of touch," he continued. "Thus, I will call myself Haptic, a word meaning 'relating to the sense of touch,'" he exposited, even though everyone was losing interest at this point. "These abilities will be core to my identity. After all, I can't see shit!"
