Description:

In the 1960s, Patriot City and the Earth were targeted by conquerors from another dimension. A defector stole a supply of their superpower-granting Energy X and headed to Patriot City, seeking to grant powers to righteous champions and fight off the invaders, but he was shot down, his payload scattering randomly across the city. Two expecting mothers in a hospital and their unborn children were among those exposed. The villain Pyric (initially going by the name Actually-on-Firebird), granted control over fire, was one of those children. He grew to be an agent of chaos, but was finally stopped in a climactic battle with his longtime rival, Cryonis, a hero with control over ice and the other child granted powers that fateful day.

Sentenced to life in Zigursky for his crimes, Pyric was sprung by Arachnos after several decades. His Energy X-enhanced body still youthful and full of vigor, Pyric has picked up where he left off, spreading fire and destruction, and looking to settle the score with Cryonis.
