The Ancients are priests and priestesses within the Banished Pantheon who long ago merged their essence with one of the many spirits who serve the gods, granting both the person and the spirit a far greater share of power than they could ever achieve individually. This Ancient channels the Spirit of Death, delighting in the death and decay of friend and foe alike. Once they focus on a victim, they become single-minded in their attacks and cannot be distracted until they have brought death to their opponent.
