The Dominion

Desideratus was once a well-regarded historian and classicist, but he never felt that he had garnered the recognition he truly deserved. Indeed, his intellect was matched only by his jealousy, leading him to covet all the things he felt should have been his. When the link to the power of the gods was uncovered, he was enraged when that power chose Rhiannon over him and this rage informed his every action since. He has spent years accumulating money and power, learning ancient secrets and developing new technologies, all in an effort to make the world pay for something over a perceived slight over which no one had any control.
