As a master of death, Diabolique is able to coalesce the energy of all those defeated, destroyed or otherwise absorbed by Mot into swirling masses of lifegiving energy. She uses these essences to restore herself within the shadow realm, but they can only give her their boon if they survive long enough for her to consume them.
